A simple yet elegant appetizer


  • 3 fresh peaches (can substitute canned peaches if fresh not available
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Wicked Harvest Bourbon
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pistachio kernels



  • Combine maple syrup and bourbon in small sauce pan and simmer on low until alcohol is evaporated and syrup is somewhat thick (Or if you prefer the more adult version just combine the syrup and bourbon and don’t cook.
  • Cut peaches into quarters
  • Cut bacon in halves
  • Wrap bacon around peach quarters and secure with tooth pick
  • Place on grill until bacon is done
  • Remove from grill, drizzle with the maple bourbon sauce and chopped pistachios
  • Serve as soon as possible unless you like cold bacon
